This 700 MW Supercritical PC Fired Power Station is equipped with a BHI FW PC Steam Generator and BHI FW MBF Type Pulverizers. Construction was completed in 2010. The unit has been in successful commercial service for over seven years. The unit is also equipped with BHI FW low NOx burners and an SCR system to meet stringent low NOx requirements. BHI Co. Ltd can offer SCR under license from Wood Plc (formerly Foster Wheeler). This unit is the first Siemens Benson Vertical Supercritical Evaporator used on a new supercritical PC Steam Generator.
The unit fires high sulfur, high ash eastern bituminous coal and produces both SH and RH steam at 1050 °F (565 °C). This unit is also equipped with an Air Quality Control System using Wheelabrator technology that was supplied by Siemens. BHI Co. Ltd can offer such AQCS under license from Wood Plc (formerly Foster Wheeler).
