President/General Manager
Pete started his career in 1990 with Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation in the Utility Boiler Business Unit. He received his Master’s Degree from the Newark College of Engineering and later became a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey.
Pete has been managing the utility boiler business for the last ten years with Foster Wheeler and during his tenure, the business has delivered several successful projects in North America and Southeast Asia.
With the purchase by BHI Co., Ltd. of the pulverized coal steam generator business from Amec Foster Wheeler in 2017, Pete has assumed the role of President and General Manager of BHI FW Corporation, managing the day to day operations of the business which is focused on delivering advanced pulverized coal fired steam generators and pulverized coal firing systems to clients worldwide.
His experience and knowledge provide sound leadership and practicality to the organization and clients.
Alberto “Al” Castro
Director of Estimating/Assistant GM
Al started his career in 1980 with Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation in the Boiler Business Unit of the Equipment Division as an Estimator. In 1984. Al left Foster Wheeler and joined Ahlstrom Pyropower in San Diego where he stayed, until 1997, when Foster Wheeler acquired the company and came back to Hampton, NJ.
His time at Ahlstrom Pyropower provided considerable knowledge into the boiler industry. Coupled with the years on PC boilers, Al has over 35 years of diversified experience with increasing responsibility in the power industry. Expert in the preparation and guiding of estimates and proposals for a wide range of power projects. He has directed, managed and led every major boiler proposal estimate since 1995.
In addition, Al has domestic and international success in various commercial and managerial positions. Extensive and effective customer interaction including sales calls, presentations, and negotiations.
With BHI FW, Al has assumed the role of Assistant General Manager, Director of Estimating, as well as Treasurer. Al manages the Financial side of the business as well as all Account Receivables and Account Payable Functions.
